Rupture/Repair is a duet performance that discusses the nature of conflict and fighting within intimate relationships. The performance utilizes the act of writing words and statements onto panes of sugar glass that performers have been emotionally affected by in their past then later throwing these panes within their environment and onto the other performer, physically conveying the pain words may cause. It concludes with the two performers getting closer to one another and feeding one another the shards of glass of varied size, and with varied apprehension. Like how people in relationships, familial or romantic, may be tentative in receiving an apology, receiving an attempt at repair, for a verbal, or physical, rupture in the relationship.
